I love warped images. I love looking at puddles and reflections off of objects. It intrigues me that I am looking at an image from an unusual angle that most people don’t even notice. Yesterday I experimented with Petroleum Jelly and the effect looks like something you would see in a vision.
To try this effect take plastic wrap over your lens, put a rubber band around it and make it tight so that it’s smooth across the lens. Note: make sure you can still zoom in and out without affecting the plastic wrap. Lastly apply the petroleum jelly on the edges of the lens leaving some area for the camera to focus. Have fun!
